TORGINOL® MicaFlakes^TM make resinous flooring glisten with natural crystalline beauty. These unique metallic flakes are derived from a group of sheet silicate minerals known as mica. Through a technical manufacturing process, the distinctive hexagonal atom arrangement of the mica minerals is separated into sheet-like pieces and broken down into standardized flake sizes. These unique flakes provide a natural metallic luster to resinous flooring systems, which cannot be achieved with other engineered materials.

What are Natural MicaFlakes^TM?

ColorMicas^TM make resinous flooring glisten with natural crystalline beauty. These unique flakes are derived from a group of sheet silicate minerals, called mica, which include muscovite, phlogopite, biotite, clintonite and others. The mica family of minerals contain highly perfect basil cleavage. Through a highly technical manufacturing process, the distinctive hexagonal atom arrangement of the mica minerals is separated into sheet-like pieces, separated into natural color groups and broken down into standardized flakes sizes. These unique flakes provide a natural metallic luster that cannot be achieved with other engineered minerals.

Natural ColorMicas^TM resinous flooring media is currently available in 6 colors and three size ranges that can be blended, mixed and matched to customize your floor and complement any décor.

Get more from your lustrous metallic floor by selecting the optimal size profile that best suits that design and ergonomic requirements of your environment. MicaFlakes are currently available in three standardized size ranges, including: 2-4 mesh, 4-8 mesh, and 8-20 mesh. High-density MicaFlakes are also available in gold and silver. Each size provides your flooring design with unique characteristics that enable you to complement any decor.
